In the 42nd match of the VIVO IPL 2021, Mumbai Indians will be taking on Punjab Kings on Tuesday at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi at 7:30 PM IST.
Mumbai Indians have been off to a rocky start in phase 2 of the tournament, losing all three of their matches so far. Quinton De Kock and skipper Rohit Sharma’s performances are the only positive for Mumbai Indians with the bat. They will have to go all out and win the match against Punjab Kings if they want to keep themselves in contention of the playoffs. Punjab Kings currently stands in fifth place in the IPL table with eight points in ten games. They won their last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday and lost earlier to Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday. Punjab has a robust batting line-up with the likes of KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal and Chris Gayle along with the veteran Mohammed Shami leading the bowling attack. PBKS has all the ingredients to play a good brand of cricket and qualify for the playoffs.
