IPL 2021: CRED announces second innings with T-20 tournament

After a successful partnership with IPL last season, CRED will continue being the official partner of the Indian Premier League for the second time in a row. CRED is looking forward to an exciting IPL 2021.

The organization that promises to create winning experiences for its members as a reward, will bring along with the collaboration a second round of enthusiasm and exciting rewards for the fans. Under the agreement, the fin-tech will be able to make direct engagement with the audience following the match through their application, which will in return give away mouth-watering rewards to the lucky fans.

To participate in the lucky-draw-ish activity, the members will be required to make their credit card bill payments through the app. One of the schemes also includes a credit card bill payment during ‘CRED Power Play – the Most Rewarding Overs’, where one can win 100% cash back (applied to only one person per match). Another such enticing reward can be availed by the CRED members during the 13th over of the first innings, where the members will be required to make similar payments through CRED Jackpot.

CRED founder Kunal Shah has been delighted by the continued partnership with the most loved tournament in India. Having partnered with over 100 brands and giving their members perpetual satisfaction with rewards, Shah looks forward to working with the Indian Premier League with very high hopes.

“Our mission is to make the journey to financial independence rewarding for our members. IPL, which unites India like no other celebration, is an opportunity to grow the CRED club.”

The finance-based app company, which will enter its second season of the three-year agreement with the Board of Control for Cricket in India, is a transparent and fully digital platform that is operated by some highly trusted brands, individuals, and institutions. The firm also aims to reward credit-worthy individuals. Individuals are only eligible to become CRED members who have a history of a constant credit score.

Regarding the partnership with cred during IPL 2021, IPL chairman, Brijesh Patel, too revealed his contentment with working with a growing organization.

“Our relationship with CRED offers many more memorable experiences, unifies billions of viewers in celebratory moments, and gives hundreds more brands the opportunity to participate in IPL. We look forward to driving deeper associations with the winning spirit of cricket for all fans through this partnership.”
