The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has forged a groundbreaking partnership with YouTube to make the Paris Paralympic Games the most accessible sporting event ever.
This collaboration has ensured that audiences worldwide can witness the extraordinary feats of Paralympic athletes through extensive live coverage.
YouTube will offer nearly 1,400 hours of live coverage across all 22 Paralympic sports, including the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. This content will be available for free in 175 markets and territories, expanding the Games’ reach to a global audience.
Commenting on the groundbreaking partnership, Mike Peters, IPC Chief Executive Officer, said, “By teaming up with YouTube for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, we will maximise the worldwide reach of the most transformational sport event on this planet, engaging new audiences in the performances of Paralympians.
“YouTube’s coverage of the Paris 2024 Paralympics will complement the work of our 160+ official broadcasters and ensure that every person on earth has the opportunity to watch the Games across a range of platforms. In terms of coverage, Paris 2024 will be the most accessible Paralympic Games in history.

The Paralympic Games will take place from August 28 to September 8, featuring 4,400 athletes from 165+ countries competing across 22 sports. India, with a strong history of Paralympic success, has a contingent of 69 athletes participating in 12 sports.
