Intuit, the global financial technology company behind TurboTax, QuickBooks and Credit Karma, has signed a multi-year domestic partnership with Team USA and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The agreement positions Intuit as a founding partner of LA28 and marks one of the most commercially significant deals in recent Olympic history.

At the heart of the partnership is a landmark shift in Games policy. The Intuit Dome, the new Inglewood arena that will host five-on-five basketball during LA28, will retain its commercial name throughout the event. This is the first time an Olympic venue will keep a corporate title during the Games, breaking from decades of clean-venue practice and signalling LA28’s willingness to modernise its commercial model.

Intuit’s role extends well beyond branding. The company will collaborate with Team USA and LA28 on financial education, community development and small business inclusion. Its financial literacy programs will be expanded to students across Los Angeles, while select Team USA athletes will receive free TurboTax services. Intuit will also co-develop a supplier diversity initiative designed to give local businesses access to LA28 procurement opportunities.

Speaking about the announcement, Thomas Ranese, Chief Marketing Officer at Intuit, said, “Intuit is incredibly proud to be a Founding Partner of the LA28 Games. Our commitment to powering prosperity aligns perfectly with the spirit of the Movement: celebrating determination, optimism, and the belief in what’s possible. Just as athletes strive for gold, we empower consumers and businesses to outdo their financial goals with confidence. This partnership also allows us to further champion the vibrant business community in Los Angeles and help them thrive.”

Casey Wasserman, LA28 Chairperson and President, added, “As we prepare to welcome the world to Los Angeles for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we’re proud to partner with Intuit—a company with deep roots in this city and a long-standing commitment to Angelenos. Intuit’s investment in small business growth reflects the values we share: innovation, accessibility, and community. Together, we’re working to create opportunities that will leave a meaningful legacy for Los Angeles well beyond the Games.”

For Intuit, the agreement provides a long-term brand platform built around one of the world’s most visible sporting moments. The company already holds partnerships in football and the NFL ecosystem, and LA28 adds a global stage backed by year-round community programming and high-impact brand visibility through the Intuit Dome.

For LA28, the deal underscores a forward-leaning commercial strategy aimed at reducing the financial burden of hosting while widening the ecosystem of long-term sponsors. Intuit joins a broad slate of partners, including Google, Starbucks, T-Mobile, Uber, Snowflake, Saatva, PennyMac, Allianz, AECOM, Cedars-Sinai, DICK’S Sporting Goods, Cisco, New Era, and Guild. Each partnership contributes to LA28’s goal of delivering a privately funded, financially responsible Games.

The financial terms have not been disclosed, but the agreement makes Intuit a central stakeholder leading up to 2028. Further details on athlete support, community initiatives and procurement programs are expected in the coming years as the partnership scales across Los Angeles and the wider Team USA ecosystem.
