The consumer electronics brand, Intex, has secured a prominent in-stadium branding presence for the upcoming India-Ireland T20I series, further expanding its footprint in cricket and aligning itself with one of Cricket Ireland’s most commercially significant international properties.

The agreement will see Intex receive extensive visibility across the two-match series, scheduled to be played at Stormont Cricket Ground in Belfast on June 26 and June 28. Through strategically positioned branding assets around the venue, the company will benefit from exposure to both spectators and the millions of viewers expected to follow the matches across television and digital platforms.

The partnership forms part of the broader commercial programme surrounding the series, which has attracted a growing roster of sponsors due to the global appeal of Indian cricket and the strong audience reach associated with India’s overseas tours. The event will be contested under the title of the Spinny Cup following Spinny’s acquisition of the series title sponsorship rights.

Commenting on the partnership, Keshav Bansal, Director, Intex Technologies, said, “Cricket continues to be one of the most effective platforms for engaging with consumers at scale. When India plays, India watches — and Stormont will be no exception. This series carries even greater excitement with the expected international T20 debut of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Our presence through in-stadium branding allows Intex to be part of these defining sporting moments and the conversations that follow.”

The Ireland series follows Intex’s recent association with the India-Afghanistan series, underlining the company’s broader strategy of leveraging high-profile cricket properties to strengthen brand recall and consumer engagement. Rather than pursuing premium sponsorship positions, the brand has focused on targeted visibility opportunities that deliver substantial reach around marquee international fixtures.

For Cricket Ireland, the continued ability to attract commercial partners around India tours reflects the growing value of its international inventory. India’s visits remain among the board’s most marketable events, drawing significant global audiences and creating attractive activation opportunities for brands seeking access to cricket’s highly engaged fan base.

As competition for sports sponsorship inventory intensifies, Intex’s latest investment underscores the enduring commercial appeal of international cricket and the value brands continue to place on connecting with audiences through the sport’s biggest occasions.
