The Major League Soccer side, Inter Miami CF, have extended their long-standing partnership with the global sportswear company, adidas, reinforcing a collaboration that has become one of the most commercially influential relationships in North American football.
The renewed long-term agreement sees adidas continue as the club’s official kit supplier and technical partner for a further five years, expanding cooperation across performance apparel, retail strategy, and fan engagement initiatives as Inter Miami continues to position itself as a global football and lifestyle brand.
As part of the partnership, adidas will play a key role in shaping the retail and fan experience at Inter Miami’s new home, Nu Stadium, which is scheduled to open in 2026. The brand will feature prominently within the Inter Miami CF official store at the venue, designed to serve as a flagship retail destination that reflects the club’s growing global merchandise demand.
Inter Miami CF President of Business Operations, Xavier Asensi, said, “This partnership at the Club level allows us to further expand our joint efforts in advancing fútbol culture and expression worldwide. We are energised that adidas shares our vision and believes in Inter Miami’s ambition to be among the top clubs globally. With this shared mindset, we look forward to creating memorable experiences and products for our fans everywhere.”
adidas CEO, Bjørn Gulden, added, “I’m extremely impressed seeing the investment here and hearing the plans that Inter Miami CF has for this fantastic city. It’s, of course, one of the anchors for growing soccer in America. I’m looking forward to the first game. We believe in the project, and I’m also sure we will extend after the five years. We are really excited about the future, both for Inter Miami and of course, for soccer in general in this country.”
adidas has been associated with Inter Miami since the club’s early years and has played an important role in shaping its visual identity. The club’s signature pink jersey has become one of the most recognisable kits in global football retail, with Inter Miami consistently ranking among the top-selling merchandise brands within MLS.
Inter Miami’s commercial platform has expanded significantly in recent seasons, attracting partnerships with major international brands including ERGO NEXT, Lowe’s, Red Bull, Mondelēz, Polkadot, Audi, and Visa, underlining the franchise’s increasing relevance within the global sports sponsorship ecosystem.
On the pitch, Inter Miami have made a positive start to their title defence, recording three wins and one defeat in their opening fixtures to sit among the leading teams in the Eastern Conference standings.
The extended agreement highlights the growing strategic importance of apparel partnerships in modern sport, where collaborations increasingly span retail innovation, brand storytelling, and global fan engagement alongside traditional kit supply arrangements.
