InPost inks partnership with Polish Football Association

InPost has been awarded branding rights on the Polish national team's training kit.

The European logistics firm, InPost has signed a two-year agreement with the Polish Football Association (PZPN) with the option of a two-year extension.

The Poland-based organisation, which functions as a system of self-service parcel lockers, has been labelled as the strategic sponsor of the Polish national team in a deal outlined as the biggest by a private Polish company in the PZPN’s history.

The contract encompasses assistance for the men’s, women’s, and youth teams and was finalised ahead of Poland’s UEFA Nations League match against Wales on Wednesday.

InPost has been awarded branding rights on the Polish national team’s training kit and will use official branding in its own marketing campaigns. LED billboards, 3D cam carpets, press conference backdrops, match programmes and tickets, screens, and the Polish team bus will all feature the InPost logo.

Grzegorz Stanczuk, Marketing and Sponsorship Director, PZPN, said, “In addition to classic sponsorship services, we are opening our social media channels to a new strategic sponsor and creating non-standard action plans, such as product placement in video materials. We want to follow this direction in the coming years.

“As the largest sports association in Poland, we want to set the standards in sports marketing. At the same time, we will do everything to make our partners feel that we participate and help build their business.”

The PZPN president, Cesare Colesa, asserted that the unusualness of the 2022 FIFA World Cup being held in the winter offers InPost new heretofore unrecognized marketing opportunities.

Poland qualified for the World Cup in Qatar by beating Sweden in a play-off which was played back in March.

Through its ‘InPost Sport Team’ venture, InPost already supports a range of Polish track and field, tennis, judo, and mountaineering athletes.
