The Indian multiplex chain, INOX Leisure Ltd, has announced a new deal with the governing body for world cricket, International Cricket Council (ICC). In this deal, INOX Leisure Ltd will broadcast ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 matches on the cinema screens at its multiplexes throughout the country.
The eighth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is all set to commence on October 16, with the Super 12 stage beginning on October 22 and the final scheduled for November 13 in Melbourne.
INOX will broadcast all of team India’s group matches, beginning with their first game against Pakistan on October 23, followed by the semi-finals and finals. The live fixtures will be displayed at INOX cinemas in over 25 cities. INOX’s venture to screen live matches in theatres will give a superior stadium-like experience.
The convenience of the movie theatre in an air-conditioned climate will enhance the fan’s total cricket-watching experience in the company of other cricket lovers. Furthermore, while watching the games, fans will continue to appreciate exhilarating food combinations and delectable gourmet options delivered at INOX cinemas.
