Infinity Toy Tronics (ITT), a sports business based in Pune, has launched Cricket Icons, a first-of-its-kind line of fully licensed collectable miniatures depicting notable players from Mumbai Indians (MI), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Gujarat Titans (GT), and Rajasthan Royals (RR).
This exclusive collection represents a huge step forward in the evolution of the cricket memorabilia sector in India, with the goal of capturing the passion of millions of fans and elevating the sports merchandise market to new heights.
ITT was formed by three first-generation Indian entrepreneurs—Rikesh Raja, Saurabh Gajbi, and Pratik Agrawal—who share a great love of cricket despite being spread across three continents. Cricket Icons was created by Rikesh Raja, who envisioned the concept and worked with the other two co-founders to make it a reality.
RISE Worldwide facilitated this three-year cooperation with the major cricket franchises, establishing a new standard for luxury collectables and interactive digital experiences in Indian cricket.
ITT’s Cricket Icons combines official licensing, cutting-edge technology, and local production to provide an immersive fan experience with keen business acumen across B2B, B2C, and D2C channels. Aditi Toys Pvt. Ltd. is ITT’s official B2C and D2C distributor, while Neha Creations handles B2B distribution. This extensive channel approach not only improves market presence, but also contributes to the government’s objective of developing a $1 billion toy economy through the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative—creating a world-class sports collectables brand anchored in Indian ingenuity with worldwide appeal.
Saurabh Gajbi, Director of Infinity Toy Tronics, said, “Growing up, we all played with Marvel heroes, Power Rangers, or football action figures—but cricket, despite being India’s biggest sport, never had its own space in the collectables world. With Cricket Icons, we saw an opportunity to not only fill that gap but also spark a revolution in the Indian toy industry. Unlike seasonal merchandise, these collectables have year-round appeal, driven by deep-rooted team loyalties and fan passion. It’s more than just a toy—it’s a cultural connection and a step toward building a sustainable, homegrown ecosystem for sports memorabilia in India.”
The collectables will be accessible through the primary online and offline outlets. Fans can place digital orders on Amazon and Flipkart, or get them delivered instantly via Swiggy Instamart and Zepto. In the retail area, Hamleys stores and local toy retailers in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities will bring the experience into homes across the country.
Each figure, made with 90-95% precision in resemblance, provides an immersive fan experience via a dedicated mobile app and is expected to sell a million units in 2025. Each figure serves as a digital portal, with fans scanning unique QR codes to unlock player avatars, earn loyalty points, and access daily quizzes, dream team challenges, and leaderboard contests. Fans can win match tickets, autographed gear, and more. The whole strategy involves social-led brand development and community interaction geared at children, parents, collectors, and die-hard cricket fans.
The line, which includes miniatures, collectables, team combinations, and action figures, is priced at INR 249 for a single collectable, INR 649 for a team combo pack of four, and INR 699 for forthcoming action figures.
Cricket Icons represent a revolution in how fans interact with the sport, providing new opportunities to celebrate, interact, and form communities around the game they love.
