India vs Australia 2022 3rd T20I: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

India are superior in the head-to-head competition between the two teams.

In the Australia tour of India 2022, the third T20I of the three-match series will take place on Sunday, September 25 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad at 7:00 PM IST. The series is currently levelled at 1-1.

The hosts finally have something to cheer about since the commencement of the bilateral series. In a rain-affected, do-or-die fixture and a not-so-favourable pitch, the skipper Rohit Sharma went all guns blazing in the eight-over chase in the second T20I to keep his team alive in the series. Axar Patel‘s tricky spell on a gripping pitch and Dinesh Karthik‘s colossal finish were of equal importance in the game. The return of Jasprit Bumrah has enhanced the team’s bowling unit, the wicket of Aaron Finch displayed the pacer’s unplayable yorker. The Men in Blue will head into the series decider full of confidence following a thumping victory and will look to seal the series.

On the other hand, the Aussies continue to fire with the bat but their bowling woes continue as Jos Hazlewood, the number one bowler in the T20I rankings, got hammered belligerently by the Indian skipper in the first over itself. The experienced Australian bowlers, Adam Zampa and Pat Cummins were also treated outside the boundary line. The finishing skills of Mathew Wade have been the biggest plus-point for the world champions. The likes of Glenn Maxwell and Tim David have to fire in the middle-order to have an upper hand in the series decider. The Australian camp will look the seal the Sunday fixture and repeat the 2019 T20I series victory glory.

Head-to-head:
India are superior in the head-to-head competition between the two teams. Both sides collided on 25 occasions, India won 14 fixtures while the Aussies emerged victorious on 10 instances.
