On Disney+ Hotstar, the first match between both teams in the Asia Cup 2022 garnered 13 million concurrent users. India and Pakistan met in the Asia Cup 2022 after more than ten months. They last faced each other in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

A total of 25.3 million viewers witnessed the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 semi-final game between India and New Zealand, which set a record for the most concurrent users on Disney+ Hotstar.

The ongoing edition of the Asia Cup began on August 27 and will conclude on September 11. There’s a high chance that India may face Pakistan in the finals, which can once again create a viewership record.
