IFS, an industrial AI software provider, has announced a major partnership with Sri Lanka Cricket, becoming the official team sponsor of the Sri Lanka national team for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.

The agreement reinforces IFS’s long-standing commitment to Sri Lankan cricket and comes as the country prepares to co-host one of the sport’s flagship global events alongside India.

As part of the partnership, the IFS brand will feature prominently on the leading arm of Sri Lanka’s match-day playing jerseys and in the central chest position on the team’s training kits throughout the tournament. The visibility provides IFS with a powerful platform to engage one of cricket’s most passionate fan bases during a tournament that blends elite competition with global reach.

Oliver Pilgerstorfer, Chief Marketing Officer of IFS, said, “The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup represents cricket at its most dynamic and exciting, and we’re honoured to stand behind Sri Lanka as they compete on home soil. This partnership reflects our deep roots and long history in Sri Lanka and our commitment to supporting the nation’s growth. As the largest technology employer in the country, we see this as an opportunity to celebrate Sri Lankan talent, both on the cricket field and in the technology sector where our teams are delivering industrial AI solutions to the world’s most progressive businesses.”

Ranil Rajapakse, President of IFS Sri Lanka, added, “Sri Lanka has been instrumental to IFS’s global success for over 28 years, and supporting our national cricket team is a natural extension of our commitment to this country. This activation is about being part of Sri Lanka’s journey, and we’re excited to see the IFS brand alongside our cricketers as they take on the world’s best.”

Mr Ashley De Silva, CEO, Sri Lanka Cricket, continued, “We warmly welcome IFS on board as our team sponsor for the upcoming T20 World Cup. As a globally recognised technology firm, their partnership comes at a most opportune time, with cricket set to be the main focus during the month-long World Cup across the cricketing world”

Beyond brand visibility, the partnership aligns with Sri Lanka Cricket’s broader ambition to modernise its high-performance and operational framework. IFS brings expertise from sectors such as aerospace, defence, energy and manufacturing, where precision, reliability and real-time decision making are critical. That experience is expected to support Sri Lanka Cricket’s drive towards world-class operational standards across performance planning, infrastructure management and high-performance facilities.

The agreement underlines Sri Lanka Cricket’s focus on long-term capability building, sustainability and scalability across its men’s, women’s and age-group pathways, while offering IFS a high-profile platform to demonstrate how enterprise technology and industrial AI can intersect with elite sport.

As the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 approaches, the partnership positions both organisations to showcase innovation, national pride and performance on one of cricket’s biggest global stages.
