IDCA announces Roma Balwani as new CEO & Brand Custodian

Balwani will establish a business structure and build IDCA as the apex body for Deaf Cricket in the country.

India’s governing body for deaf cricket, the Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA) has announced Roma Balwani as the new CEO and brand custodian.

As the CEO, Balwani will establish a business structure and build IDCA as the apex body for Deaf Cricket in the country. Moreover, she will also be on IDCA’s advisory board.

Balwani has been a communications expert for more than 30 years. She also serves as an Independent Director at John Cockerill, India, a leading firm and engineering company specialising in cold rolling mill complexes for the steel industry, where she works on the CSR and NRC committees.

Previously as well, she oversaw the first edition of the Deaf-ICC World Cup T20, which took place in Gurugram, Haryana between November 23 and 30, 2018.
