In the ICC World Test Championship 2025 Final, which is set to be played at Lord’s, will see South Africa take on reigning champions Australia, from today, June 11 at 3 PM IST.
South Africa, led by Temba Bavuma, is making its first participation in a WTC final, while Australia is aiming for a second consecutive victory after defeating India in 2023. South Africa’s XI is relatively predictable, with Lungi Ngidi chosen as the third seamer above Dane Paterson and Corbin Bosch. Despite being famous to Indian Premier League (IPL) fans, their batting lineup, with the exception of Bavuma and Aiden Markram, is yet to face Australia in red-ball cricket.
