Cricket Ireland has signed a deal with Amul, the Indian food product marketing organisation, for the highly anticipated ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in October-November.
In this association, Amul has been roped in as the team sponsor for the elite cricket competition. In addition, the brand’s logo will be visible on the leading arm of the men’s jersey.
Amul, also known as Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), was founded in 1946 and is India’s leading food product marketing organisation with an annual brand turnover of US$ 8 billion. Amul functions throughout India via a network of 79 sales offices, 10,000 dealers and over a million retailers. The brand sells day-to-day needed dairy products such as milk, milk powder, health beverages, cottage cheese, butter, ghee, ice cream etc. It is one of the most celebrated brands across India that has delivered some remarkable campaigns.

Amul has valuable experience in sponsoring international cricket teams. The dairy brand has signed the dotted lines in the past with the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) and New Zealand Cricket.
