ICC announces a long-term association with DP World

Following the partnership, DP World has been named the global logistics partner of the ICC.

The international cricket governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled a long-term association with the Emirati multinational logistics company, DP World.

The association between the two esteemed entities will kick off with the upcoming World Test Championship Final (2021-23) and it will also cover all important ICC events in men’s and women’s cricket including the T20 Cricket World Cup, ODI World Cup, and Champions Trophy.

Following the partnership, which was announced at the Oval Cricket Ground in London, DP World has been named the global logistics partner of the ICC. The Dubai-based company also became the first committed partner of the ICC for the upcoming cycle 2024-27. DP World will provide logistics solutions to the ICC throughout the duration of the collaboration. The association also provides DP World with the right to own the match ball delivery moment ahead of fixtures at ICC events along with branding on varied different assets. The two parties will also be involved in co-creating digital and experiential initiatives.

DP World has joined the likes of Emirates, MRF Tyres, Aramco,, and BYJU’S as ICC’s global partners for the current commercial cycle.

This partnership will not only span our upcoming events during 2023 but will also form an integral part of the ICC’s new commercial rights cycle, beginning in January 2024. It is set to be a partnership marked by deep integration and collaboration.

Launching this partnership in such a landmark year for the sport is particularly exciting, with the ICC World Test Championship Final kicking off on Wednesday, and the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup slated to capture the spotlight in October and November.”

DP World is having quite a year as it has managed to sign the dotted lines with the likes of Delhi Capitals (DC), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and McLaren Racing.
