The automobile manufacturer, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has roped in four players from the Indian women’s cricket team for its “The Drive Within” campaign. The four Indian women cricketers are Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, Taniya Bhatia, and Shafali Verma.
All the four cricket players have been named as the brand ambassador of the automobile manufacturer, penning down a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which sees them entering an exclusive one-year partnership.
Following this association, Hyundai looks forward to highlighting the women cricketers’ contribution to Indian cricket and celebrating women’s power to inspire other athletes present in India. Hyundai will also be releasing short clips on their digital platforms which will highlight the winning stories of the four cricketers.
The “The Drive Within” campaign was launched in the presence of Mandhana, who is the vice-captain of India’s women’s cricket team. She was accompanied by Rodrigues, Bhatia and Varma, who is the youngest cricketer to play all three cricket formats. The Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan also made an appearance virtually at the event.

Apart from these, Hyundai has also announced its partnership with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In this agreement, the automobile manufacturer has been labelled as the associate sponsor and will have its presence during the international matches at home.
