Hyundai India ropes in golfer Aditi Ashok as latest brand ambassador

In the two-year deal, Hyundai will be working closely with Aditi Ashok with the golfer representing HMIL’s Young & Progressive Imagery.

The automobile manufacturer, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has roped in Indian golfer Aditi Ashok as its latest brand ambassador. Both signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), following which they have entered into an exclusive two-year partnership.

HMIL signing the Arjuna awardee aims to strengthen its brand voice, spirit, and innovative approaches which will further see the automobile manufacturer resonate with the youth of the country.  

In this two-year-long deal, Hyundai will be working closely with Aditi Ashok with the golfer representing HMIL’s Young & Progressive Imagery. Adding to it, the automobile manufacturing brand will continue to work on its vision of prioritizing Progress for Humanity, through this partnership.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Seon Seob Kim, MD & CEO, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), said: “It is a moment of great pride for us to announce this association with Ms. Aditi Ashok, one of the youngest and finest golfer player in India today. Hyundai as a brand, strives for excellence and innovations, we are committed to go ‘Beyond Mobility’ to usher in a whole new world for our sports enthusiast customers.”

He added, “Our association with Ms. Aditi Ashok reflects our brand’s vision to inspire people, especially women in sports to be their true self and stand by their choices. Our commitment towards creating a gateway of opportunities for emerging talent, has been a key focus this year.  We are consciously advancing in creative formats to craft pathbreaking experiences, through a series of innovative consumer engagement programs”.

As part of the Sports Association, Aditi Ashok will be representing Hyundai in different national and international sports tournaments and championships. Adding to it, Aditi will be promoting the automobile brand by placing the logo of Hyundai on her jersey as she participates in major tournaments.

The association will be further leveraged through a series of initiatives which includes creating digital bytes for posting on the social media handles and sharing Aditi’s winning stories through still photos. As per the official press release, Hyundai is celebrating the spirit of Indian women sportspeople who are challenging the stereotypes and setting new benchmarks becoming an inspiration for millions of women.

While the automobile brand has roped in four Indian women’s cricket stars, Smriti MandhanaJemimah Rodrigues, Taniya Bhatia, and Shafali Verma earlier this month to further promote their supporting sportswomen campaign.
