Husqvarna, a leading innovator in robotic and smart lawnmower technology, has announced a multi-year partnership to collaborate with three tournaments on the DP World Tour.

Husqvarna has become an official partner of two “Back 9” competitions, which include nine of the Tour’s most significant events and national Opens. These are the Amgen Irish Open and the Betfred British Masters, which will be presented by Sir Nick Faldo, a six-time major champion who was recently named Husqvarna Brand Ambassador. Husqvarna has additionally become a corporate partner for the BMW International Open during the Tour’s European Swing. The cooperation lasts until the end of the 2027 season.

Husqvarna has a proven track record of supplying world-class golf course maintenance products to some of Europe’s most renowned courses and tournament locations. The company’s orange and black ride-on, portable, and autonomous robotic mowers, notably the CEORA, are widely used on golf courses throughout the world.

Husqvarna will be able to display its product and service offerings in important markets via on-course and digital branding, product presentations in tournament villages, and B2B networking via luxury hospitality platforms at each event.

Samantha Donnelly, Senior Marketing Manager, Husqvarna, said, “As world-leaders in the space of robotic mowers, we’re committed to helping people make time for what matters through our cutting-edge innovation. Whether that’s our professional range that opens more time for greenkeepers, or our residential models, that automatically cut the lawn to perfection – great for golfers looking to spend more time with their family, or out on the course.

“We’re also committed to supporting the game of golf, so we’re incredibly excited to see our connection to the game growing – whether that’s through the courses we supply, or those we partner with. We’re thrilled to announce this partnership as we take our next step in the sport.”

Max Hamilton, Executive Commercial Director of the DP World Tour, added, “Husqvarna are a globally minded organisation and they wanted to bolster their already strong track record in the golf industry. When looking to invest in a new sports sponsorship, our tournaments made perfect sense because we have an unrivalled diversity of players and tournament locations to choose from as Golf’s Global Tour. We have selected three tournaments for the partnership that are played in priority markets for their brand. Husqvarna have also recruited an impressive roster of social media influencers as Ambassadors in recent months, as well as DP World Tour icon Sir Nick Faldo, which provides additional activation opportunities at these tournaments. Together, we have all the ingredients to build a programme that delivers strong commercial results for their business.”
