Hudle, India’s leading sports-tech platform, has been onboarded as a booking and community partner for two sporting events: the Monsoon Pickleball Championship 2.0 and Indian Padel Tour 3.0.

Hudle’s platform will allow for efficient ticketing and player involvement, as well as drive more registrations and participation through its dynamic community. The collaboration demonstrates Hudle’s dedication to promoting the enormous expansion of Pickleball and Padel in India, which saw a 159% surge in popularity between 2019 and 2022.

The Monsoon Pickleball Championship 2.0, hosted by Global Sports, which is going on from August 20 to 25, 2024, has over 800 athletes from across the world vying for a stunning USD 100,000 prize pool. The event will include global performers like former World No. 2 Jocelyn ‘Jay’ Devilliers, also known as Flying Frenchman, Meghan Fudge, Ryler Dheart, Rob Nunnery, and Thaddea Lock. Hudle will provide players over 4 lacs in credits to utilise at Global Sports Pickleball Venues.

The Indian Padel Tour 3.0 will take place at PadelPark in Mumbai from August 23 to 25, 2024, and will feature a unique franchise-based model that combines professional and amateur play. Hudle will offer the winners 10,000 credits apiece, therefore improving the player experience and increasing community involvement.

Hudle has seen a 35% month-on-month increase in pickleball and padel games, with rising participation from places like Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Hudle has collaborations in numerous cities, such as Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Indore, and Bhopal. Hudle’s forthcoming growth into Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Chennai will ensure that players have access to excellent venues and the ability to engage with other sports fans.

Suhail Narain, Founder & CEO, Hudle, said, “The surge in Pickleball and Padel popularity in India is truly remarkable, spanning a wide age bracket. This growth is not just about numbers but about the expanding passion and community around these sports. At Hudle, we are dedicated to not only fueling this momentum but also ensuring that players across all age groups have the resources, venues, and communities they need to thrive. Our vision is to make sports a seamless and integral part of everyone’s life, and our partnerships with these major events are a testament to that commitment.”

Pickleball and Padel have had tremendous global development, with over 5 million players in 84 nations and over 25 million players in 110 countries, respectively. Hudle’s revolutionary strategy extends beyond booking and community involvement to provide a holistic digital ecosystem that links athletes, optimises venue administration, and nurtures a thriving sports community.
