The Indian sports and lifestyle apparel brand, HRX has signed a partnership with the four Indian Premier League (IPL) teams as the official merchandise partner for the ongoing season. The teams are Mumbai Indians (MI), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Gujarat Titans (GT), and Delhi Capitals (DC).
Following the association, the players of these teams will be wearing HRX-manufactured jerseys.
Pallavi Barman, Business Head and Fitness Ambassador of HRX, said, “IPL definitely is a perfect integration to have in terms of merchandising, but sports as a whole is something HRX focuses towards and this is the ecosystem that we want to build. While you may have seen HRX being a popular active wear choice for Gully cricket, we are consciously collaborating on sports events like Roots Amateur Cricket league. It’s all about catering to the Indian masses as a whole, as we Indians are extremely passionate about sports.”
Founded in 2013, HRX, also known as Hrithik Roshan Extreme, is a men’s athleisure brand which is curated by the Indian actor, Hrithik Roshan. The brand was launched with the aim of transforming the youth of India into a better version of themselves in the aspect of fitness.
Talking about these teams in the ongoing tournament, GT are currently heading the points table with 12 points, whereas MI, KKR, and DC are lagging behind, as they are standing in seventh, eighth, and tenth spot, respectively.
