The Asian Champions Trophy 2024, a men’s hockey event organised by the Asian Hockey Federation, is all set to begin today, i.e., September 8, 2024. The event features the top six Asian national teams and will take place in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia, People’s Republic of China.
The eighth edition of the Men’s Asian Champions Trophy will see the continent’s leading six teams, which includes Paris Olympics 2024 bronze medallists and reigning champions India, Pakistan, South Korea, Japan, China, and Malaysia.
The inaugural day of the tournament will see all six teams compete. The first match will pit South Korea against Japan, which will be then followed by Malaysia vs Pakistan, while the last match of the day involves reigning champions India against hosts China.
The closely awaited encounter between archrivals India and Pakistan on September 14 will be a highlight of the championship. The event will include 20 matches, culminating with the final on September 17.
