Herbalife India has expanded its sports-marketing portfolio with a new partnership with the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), becoming the official nutrition partner of the Indian contingent at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.

The partnership places Herbalife within the athlete-support ecosystem for the continental multi-sport event, with its role focused on nutrition across preparation, recovery and performance. The Asian Games are taking place in Japan from September 19 to October 4, with India fielding a 503-athlete contingent across 36 disciplines.

Ajay Khanna, Managing Director, Herbalife India, said, “We are incredibly proud to stand with Team India at the Asian Games. Drawing on decades of global experience in sports nutrition, we are committed to providing the science-backed nutrition support our athletes need to perform at their peak. Beyond the competition, we hope this partnership strengthens India’s sporting ecosystem and inspires people across the nation to embrace a healthier, active lifestyle.”

P. T. Usha, President, Indian Olympic Association, added, “As our athletes prepare for the rigours of continental competition, the support of credible partners is invaluable to their journey. We are pleased to welcome Herbalife India as the Official Nutrition Partner for the Indian contingent at Aichi-Nagoya 2026. This collaboration further strengthens the ecosystem supporting our athletes, and we look forward to seeing Team India perform with confidence and pride.”

The deal builds on Herbalife’s established presence in Indian sport. The company has previously served as a nutrition partner for India’s Olympic contingents at the 2016, 2021 and 2024 Games, as well as the 2022 Commonwealth Games and Special Olympics Bharat in 2023.

Its current portfolio also includes the TATA Women’s Premier League, where Herbalife is the official nutrition partner for the 2026 season, and IRONMAN 70.3 Goa. The company also works with Indian athletes including Yashasvi Jaiswal, Smriti Mandhana, Manika Batra, Lakshya Sen, and Palak Kohli.

The Asian Games partnership therefore gives Herbalife another national-level platform to connect its sports-nutrition proposition with Indian athletes across a broad range of disciplines, while extending a sports portfolio that already spans individual athletes, professional leagues and endurance events.
