The UK’s leading beer business brand, Heineken, has extended its partnership with the English club AFC Bournemouth. Following this extension, Heineken will be continuing with the title of official beer and cider supplier of Bournemouth for another two seasons.
Heineken, apart from being the official beer supplier, will also have its presence at matchdays, while the deal will also include promotional outreach as well as attending other AFC Bournemouth events.
In 2017, a bar known as “Great Escape Bar” was launched at Bournemouth’s home stadium, “Vitality Stadium” which was in partnership with Heineken, where currently the club supporters meet and share a drink prior to matches. While at the same stadium, the 1910 Bar has been refurbished as part of the deal with Heineken, offering the beer brand more advertising opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, Keith Benton from Heineken, said: “As the leading cider and beer company in the UK, Heineken are delighted and very proud to extend our partnership with AFC Bournemouth. “Now into our ninth season, it is great to see the Cherries riding high and we wish them every success during the 2021/22 Championship campaign.”
Adding to it, Rob Mitchell, commercial director at AFC Bournemouth, said: “We’ve worked with Heineken for a number of years now and really enjoyed their support with some great fan-centered projects around Vitality Stadium. “We’re now looking forward to continuing the partnership as we push forwards together on and off the pitch.”

While the Cherries will be playing two exciting fixtures in the coming days as they will be facing, Swansea City and Derby County, respectively in the Championship.
