Haryana Steelers, a franchise in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), have released a new campaign ‘Hum Hai Haryana Steelers’, a one-take film which shows the team’s remarkable journey from underdogs to undisputed champions, and now stepping into Season 12 determined to dominate.

Shot in a single take, the film brings Kabaddi to life in a manner no team has before: raw, forceful, and cinematic. The one-shot approach highlights the athletes in a never-before-seen way, combining the brutality of the sport with the pride of representing Haryana.

The film, which is narrated in Haryanvi, captures the tenacity, hunger, and pride that distinguish the Steelers and the state. In keeping with this, the league has announced the addition of Haryanvi commentary for season, providing supporters in Haryana an even deeper feeling of connection to their club and the sport.

Divyanshu Singh, CEO, Haryana Steelers and JSW Sports, said, “The journey of the Haryana Steelers has always mirrored the spirit of the state; resilience, determination, and pride. With ‘Hum Hai Haryana Steelers’, we wanted to bring that essence alive through a film that speaks in the language of our people — and to capture it in a single-take shot that reflects the same fearlessness our players show on the mat. The addition of Haryanvi commentary by the league further strengthens that connect, making every fan feel this is their team. This season is about more than defending our title, it’s about dominating and owning the mat.”

On the commercial front, the unit has been doing exceptionally well, having retaining all of their shirt sponsors from the previous season. Additionally, the side also got in Frido, My Fitness Peanut Butter, Dr Morepen, Unrack, RedFM, NeoSocial and Ethleisure.

Talking about the defending PKL 2025 champions’ on field moves, the side has retained key players including as captain Jaideep Dahiya and vice-captain Rahul Sethpal. The unit will begin its season against Bengal Warriors on August 31.
