Harry Kane joins TOCA Football as an investor

Kane mentioned that TOCA Social's attraction toward adult players for recreational entertainment and night-outs is his reason for the investment.

The Tottenham Hotspur forward and England football team skipper, Harry Kane, recently invested in TOCA Football, a football-focused and tech-enabled entertainment firm.

TOCA Football, which was established in 2016 by the Premier League (PL) player, Eddie Lewis, has just become North America’s largest services provider of indoor football complexes. To provide constructive criticism to academy athletes, TOCA employs patented coaching gadgets.

TOCA Social at the O2, dubbed “the world’s first integrated football and eating destination,” blends “immersive gameplay and world-class cuisine and drink.”

Players take turns facing a robot modelled after the former Fulham Football Club, Preston North End, Leeds United, and Derby County striker, Lewis’ own training techniques, attempting to handle a football shot across the ground at great velocity before hitting targets on an integrated display, earning points for precision and power.

Kane mentioned that TOCA Social’s attraction toward adult players for recreational entertainment and night-outs is his reason for the investment.

Kane, said, “I think TOCA is a great opportunity for younger boys and girls to train and learn.

“Everyone wants to see their stats, and everyone wants to see where they’re finishing, how they’re finishing, and where the best place to score is. The TOCA technology gives you the opportunity of getting that information back, seeing what you need to work on, what you’re doing well, and what you need to improve on, and I think that is great to have.”
