Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Dolphins, and Miami GP strengthen ties with Verizon

This expanded, multi-year arrangement builds on Verizon's historic partnership with the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium, which began in 2017.

Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Dolphins, and South Florida Motorsports (SFM) have broadened their partnership with Verizon, prolonging the telecommunications company’s presence at a growing number of marquee events, such as the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix at the Miami International Autodrome (MIA).

This expanded, multi-year arrangement builds on Verizon’s historic partnership with the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium, which began in 2017, and demonstrates a wider integration throughout the facility and its marquee events. Verizon has played an important role in enriching the fan experience at Hard Rock Stadium by powering the fan journey at Dolphins games and supporting major global events such as the Super Bowl and international football matches.

The new agreement with the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix is a logical progression of this long-standing relationship, as Verizon expands its capabilities and presence throughout the campus during race weekend.

This alliance also expands engagement between Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium brands. Verizon will expand its support for Dolphins community initiatives in South Florida, such as the FOOTBALL UNITES Jason Jenkins Day of Service and Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC), the National Football League‘s (NFL) largest cancer research fundraiser.

Furthermore, Verizon will collaborate with Hard Rock Stadium to serve fans at a variety of world-class events, including football, soccer, concerts, and music festivals, cementing the stadium’s standing as a worldwide entertainment destination. The engagement will also highlight the company’s dedication to helping small companies in South Florida, as it plans to work with local organisations to ensure that each event reflects the vibrant community.

Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer for the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium, Jason Green, said, “Verizon’s expanded role across our enterprise reflects our joint commitment to community, connectivity and world-class experiences. Deepening this relationship aligned seamlessly with our organization’s dedication to innovation, fan-first experiences and community impact, as it elevates the fan experience through innovative touchpoints that create unforgettable moments across every event we host.”

Since the first Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix in 2022, Verizon has operated the MIA at Hard Rock Stadium with its 5G Ultra Wideband network, delivering unrivalled connection for fans, media, and teams alike. Verizon’s commitment to technical innovation and community development has made it an ideal partner for the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, bolstering Miami’s status on the Formula 1 calendar as a hotbed of speed, innovation, and elegance.

The extended collaboration with SFM includes a heightened presence of Verizon branding around the Miami International Autodrome, an exclusive activation within the Paddock Club, and a slate of engaging fan experiences to enhance the excitement of race weekend.

The F1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix 2025 will be the fourth edition of the event, which will take place on the 3.36-mile circuit inside the Hard Rock Stadium complex, home of the Miami Dolphins. The Miami race is the first of three Formula 1 races in the United States, and it has proven itself as a distinct combination of exhilarating racing, cultural vitality, and luxury spectator experiences.
