The Indian all-rounder and one of the standby players of the squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, Shardul Thakur, turned 31 today i.e. Sunday, October 16, 2022.
Following an impeccable performance in the domestic circuit for Mumbai, Thakur received his maiden national call-up in 2016 against West Indies but didn’t get the chance to play. In 2017 against Sri Lanka, he made his debut for India. Since his debut, the cricketer was always been in the national team’s scheme of things. Being crucial with the ball in breaking partnerships in middle overs and his assault with the bat in death overs made him a great prospect for the team.
