The Indian captain made his international debut in June 2007 against Ireland under the captaincy of the current coach of the Indian cricket team, Rahul Dravid. Rohit is the only cricketer in the world to have three double centuries in ODIs and also owns the highest individual score in limited overs cricket with 264. The opener’s penchant for hitting sixes has gained him the second spot in the list of most sixes by a player in international cricket across all formats. The Nagpur-born cricketer has smashed 526 sixes so far and is likely to cross Chris Gayle, who is sitting at the top with 553 sixes. Rohit is also the only cricketer in the world to score five centuries in a single ODI World Cup.
