The young, stylish and attacking Indian opening batter, Prithvi Shaw turned 23 today i.e. November 9, 2022.
Born in Thane, Maharashtra, the young Shaw was immediately compared to yet another Mumbaikar Sachin Tendulkar following his exploits at the top. At the age of 14, he made headlines by scoring an unbelievable 546 runs in a game of Mumbai’s Harris-Shield. Shaw then hit centuries in both his Ranji Trophy 2016-17 and Duleep Trophy 2017 debuts, matching the record set by Tendulkar.
Since his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut, the young Mumbai cricketer has experienced a meteoric rise. He was also the skipper of India’s Under-19 World Cup-winning team in 2018.
