One of the fittest and most talented strikers of the new era, Kylian Mbappe turned 24 today i.e. December 20, 2022.
Mbappe commenced his football by taking lessons from his father. He was effective in the Clairefontaine Academy during his youth career. He started his career with AS Bondy and stayed with them for 11 years. He decided to join the Monaco youth team in 2013. He has eight goals for France’s under-19 team. Mbappe made his first-team AS Monaco debut in 2015 when he faced SM Caen.
Mbappe represented France for the first time ever in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification in 2017. At the age of 18, he was the youngest member player in France’s national team history, after Maryan Wisnieski. In the 2018 World Cup qualification, he managed to score his first senior international goal against the Netherlands.
The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) No.7 has established an insatiable desire for records. He has earned the Ligue 1 Player of the Year award three times and completed as the league’s top scorer four times. During an outstanding 2021/22 season, he transitioned into second place on the club’s all-time leading scorer list and concluded the season as the player with the most main objective entanglements in Europe (42). Winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup is his biggest accomplishment so far in his career.
The star football player went toe-to-toe with his PSG mate, Lionel Messi, in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 final a couple of nights ago. Following a splendid performance, he scored a hattrick and almost shackled Messi’s World Cup dream. Mbappe fought like a warrior in the final frontier of the World Cup when the rest of his teammates were outfoxed by the in-form Argentinian players. Mbappe’s heroics went in vain as France fell short in the penalty shootout.
