The youngster plays for Jharkhand in domestic cricket and is an opening batsman who likes to counter-attack irrespective of any format of the game.
Kishan captained the Indian team in the U-19 Cricket World Cup. The attacking southpaw commenced his Indian Premier League (IPL) journey in 2016 when he was selected by Gujarat Lions (GL). In the IPL auction in 2018, he was bought by MI for a hefty amount of INR 6.2 crore.
