Ajinkya Rahane, one of India’s finest players and domestic star for Mumbai turned 34 on Monday, June 6.

Ajinkya Madhukar Rahane has previously captained the Indian national cricket team. He is primarily a middle-order batsman in Test cricket and a top-order batsman in white-ball cricket. He was also the vice-captain of India’s Test squad until the home series against New Zealand in 2021.

He plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket and was bought in auction by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2022. He is often called “Jinx” by his teammates.

He also featured in 90 ODIs for India scoring 2962 runs at an average of 35.26 with three centuries and 24 half-centuries to his name. He played 20 T20Is for India and scored 331 runs at an average of 20.8.
