The German football club, Hamburger SV (HSV) have announced a sponsorship extension deal with the German sportswear giant, adidas.
As part of the agreement, HSV players will continue to wear the adidas three stripes, which have been worn since the 2007/08 season, for another five years. This indicates that the HSV-adidas agreement will go on for at least 22 years.
The previous supplier agreement with the sportswear giant was set to end on June 30, 2024, but it will now be replaced by an additional five-year agreement beginning on July 1, 2024.
CEO, Jonas Boldt, HSV, said, “Two strong brands, tradition, emotion! We rely on a reliable relationship. Our footballers appreciate the proven adidas quality and we all appreciate this very well-practised partnership.”

Our outfitter is also very popular with our fans. The three stripes in the sign of the rhombus stand for an emotional recognition effect, awaken memories and make us want more.”

Starting this summer onwards, the European team sports specialist 11teamsports will be in charge of providing the finest possible quality of service in the collaboration, operating as a contractual partner in the same way that adidas does.
