The Formula 1 team, Haas has announced a new partnership with a global B2B payments technology firm, TransferMate Global Payments.

There were outside concerns about Haas’ financial health before the 2022 season, following the termination of their deal with then-title sponsor Uralkali. The team, on the other hand, made it clear that money was not an issue, citing strong interest from companies looking to collaborate with Haas.

As a result of that interest, a major new partnership has been announced, this time with TransferMate as an official team partner.

TransferMate is a market-leading, internationally governed B2B payments technology platform that helps businesses to send and receive cross-border payments more easily and quickly than ever before.

TransferMate has spent the last decade developing innovative payment technology solutions and expanding the regulatory footprint around the world. This dedication has resulted in key success milestones that the firm celebrates regularly.

This is a global partnership and the deal will have TransferMate’s branding appear on the Haas VF-22 as well as the apparel of Haas drivers Kevin Magnussen and Mick Schumacher during the 2022 season.

Haas Principal Guenther Steiner, said, “We’re delighted to welcome TransferMate and we look forward to a productive working partnership in 2022 and beyond. It’s clear that as a brand TransferMate prides itself on the delivery of the very best product.

“We share that ethos and ultimately, we’re both in sectors where innovation is rewarded and actions need to be executed with confidence and precision. Efficiency is key to everything we do in Formula 1 and working with TransferMate adds another deliverable to our operations.”

Sinead Fitzmaurice, CEO of TransferMate Global Payments, commented, “We’re delighted to become an official team partner of Haas F1 Team. The partnership brings together two like-minded organisations, each with a strong commitment to challenging norms through innovation.

“We’re looking forward to seeing our partnership group throughout the 2022 Formula 1 season. It promises to be a very exciting year for both ourselves and the Haas team. It’s only fitting that we’re joining forces on the road ahead and setting new standards of excellence for the future.”
