MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, the Formula 1 outfit competing under an American licence, has expanded its commercial portfolio by signing a multi-year partnership with IC Markets as the team’s official FX trading partner.

The agreement brings a major global financial-services company into the team’s ecosystem at a time when Formula 1 continues to attract strong investment from fintech brands.

Under the deal, IC Markets will receive prominent branding on the VF-25, including placements on the nose, front wing, halo, and cockpit headrests. The branding will debut at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, aligning with IC Markets’ international expansion plans and the launch of its refreshed visual identity.

Speaking about the announcement, Ayao Komatsu, Team Principal of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, said, “We’re excited to welcome IC to the team. Their focus on technology, efficiency, and continual improvement aligns closely with our ethos in Formula 1. We look forward to building a high-performing partnership together.”

Tony Philip, Chief Marketing Officer at IC, added, “Formula 1 is the perfect expression of precision, discipline, and performance under pressure, qualities that resonate deeply with IC and with the traders we serve around the world. This partnership marks an important milestone in our global growth strategy. Alongside it, we are also rolling out a timely refresh of our logo and visual identity, a small but meaningful step as we embark on the next chapter of the IC journey.”

Jason Hughes, General Manager of IC MENA, shared, “The UAE is shaping the future of global finance, making Abu Dhabi the perfect stage for this partnership. Our presence here reflects our long-term commitment to the region and our ambition to continue delivering world-class trading experiences and products.”

For Haas, the agreement strengthens its push into fast-growing commercial categories such as fintech, digital finance, and technology. It follows recent additions to the sponsorship roster, including Vellamo Water, Infobip Technology, and Orion180, and arrives ahead of a major shift in 2026, when Toyota Gazoo Racing is set to become the team’s title partner.

IC Markets, the online forex and CFD trading platform, positions this as the largest motorsport partnership in its history. The firm views F1 as a strong global marketing vehicle that aligns naturally with the brand’s themes of accuracy, speed, and performance under pressure.

The announcement comes at a time when financial-services companies are increasingly using F1 to scale their global visibility. FX trading platforms, in particular, have been active in securing sponsorships as the sport continues to expand its international fanbase.

On the track, the team heads into the Abu Dhabi season finale eighth in the Constructors’ Championship with 73 points, behind Racing Bulls on 92 and Aston Martin on 80, and ahead of Kick Sauber on 68. The final round carries competitive and strategic value as the team prepares for a new era beginning in 2026.
