The Women’s Premier League (WPL) team, Gujarat Giants (GG) have signed partnerships with the Indian snack brands, Gopal Namkeen and Cristos.
Following the association, Gopal Namkeen and Cristos have been named the official principal sponsors of Gujarat Giants.
The Gujarat-based franchise used its social media platforms to reveal the two new collaborations.
Gopal Namkeen is an Indian company that produces different kinds of snacks including Indian namkeens, papads, and wafers. The company’s foundation stone was laid in the year 1994 by Bipinbhai Vitthalbhai Hadvani.
Cristos is a snack product from the house of Gopal Namkeen that produces wafers in multiple flavours – Salted, African Mint and Mexican Chilli.
Prior to this development, the Gujarat-based franchise added companies such as Adani, Tata Capital, and Ambuja Cement to its sponsorship portfolio.
The Giants did not start their inaugural season on a good note, as they lost their initial two matches against Mumbai Indians (MI) and UP Warriorz (UPW), respectively. The Beth Mooney-led side will face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) next on March 8 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
