Guild Esports and Gaming, a gaming-focused media platform, has concluded the purchase of Encore, a Los Angeles-based fan engagement platform.
Guild will rapidly incorporate Encore’s data collection capabilities, including its unique Fan ID system, into its array of goods and services. Fan ID allows fans to safely transmit zero-party data with the teams, leagues, and brands they support in exchange for discounts, prizes, unique experiences, and personalised fan engagement.
Guild claims to now have a unique, data-driven ability to proactively design solutions for the gaming sector throughout their own channels, and also for other eSports teams, influencers, publishers, and marketers looking for innovative ways to engage directly with their viewers.
In order to increase efficiency with media spend and guarantee that their clients can begin generating long-term value from their activations within the gaming audience, Guild Studios, their in-house creative and media agency dedicated to the gaming industry, will also incorporate Encore into their portfolio of goods and services.
