Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have expanded their commercial portfolio by announcing a multi-year partnership with Google, naming Google Gemini as the club’s official AI assistant and Google Pixel as its official smartphone.

The agreement marks one of the most prominent technology partnerships in European football, highlighting the increasing role of artificial intelligence and connected devices in transforming fan engagement.

The collaboration will see Google Gemini integrated across PSG’s digital ecosystem to power AI-driven experiences for supporters while supporting the club’s content creation and operational workflows. Although specific applications are yet to be detailed, the partnership is designed to deliver more personalised, interactive and immersive experiences for PSG’s global fanbase.

Google Pixel will also play a central role in the alliance as the club’s official smartphone partner. The companies are expected to collaborate on exclusive digital campaigns, creator-led initiatives and behind-the-scenes content that showcases Pixel’s AI-powered capabilities, while giving supporters greater access to the club through innovative storytelling.

A key component of the agreement is the launch of Google Space at the Parc des Princes. The dedicated interactive zone will provide fans with hands-on demonstrations of Google’s latest technologies, including Gemini and Pixel, creating new matchday experiences and reinforcing PSG’s ambition to position innovation at the heart of its supporter engagement strategy.

Commenting on the occasion, Richard Heaselgrave, Chief Revenue Officer of PSG, said, “This partnership with Google perfectly reflects our ambition to collaborate with the world’s most innovative companies. By combining Google’s technological expertise with the global strength of the Paris Saint-Germain brand, we will explore new ways to create, innovate and express our Parisian identity through content that resonates with fans around the world.”

Jean-Philippe Becane, Marketing Director of Google France, added, “We are proud to become a Premium Partner of Paris Saint-Germain, an iconic club that has established itself as one of the leading names in European football. This strategic partnership reflects our ambition to leverage the full breadth of Google’s technologies—particularly Google Gemini and Google Pixel—to help football fans everywhere connect more closely with the moments that matter most to their team.”

The agreement continues PSG’s strategy of partnering with global brands that align with its ambitions beyond football. In recent months, the French champions have expanded and strengthened their commercial portfolio through partnerships with BYD, Accor, Beyond Developments, Visit Qatar and 1xBet, further reinforcing the club’s position as one of the most commercially attractive properties in world sport.

For Google, the partnership adds another marquee name to its rapidly expanding sports portfolio, which already spans organisations including LALIGA, the NBA, the Indian Premier League (IPL), the International Cricket Council (ICC), McLaren Racing and the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. By integrating Gemini and Pixel into one of football’s most globally recognised clubs, Google gains a powerful platform to demonstrate the practical applications of its AI ecosystem to millions of supporters worldwide.

As technology companies increasingly shift from traditional sponsorships to integrated innovation partnerships, the PSG-Google alliance reflects the next evolution of sports marketing, one where artificial intelligence, digital experiences and connected devices become central to how clubs engage supporters both inside and beyond the stadium.
