Golden State Entertainment has announced a landmark multi-year partnership with AI cloud infrastructure company IREN, naming the Australian technology firm as the new global jersey patch partner of the Golden State Warriors in one of the most significant commercial agreements in professional sports.

The partnership, which begins with the 2026-27 NBA season, will see the IREN logo featured on all Golden State Warriors jerseys, replacing Rakuten following the conclusion of its long-running sponsorship.

The collaboration extends beyond the Warriors to encompass Golden State Entertainment’s wider sporting portfolio. IREN branding will also appear on the warm-up apparel of the WNBA‘s Golden State Valkyries and on the jerseys of the NBA G League‘s Santa Cruz Warriors, while the company will receive prominent exposure across Chase Center through in-arena branding, digital platforms and fan engagement initiatives.

Beyond its commercial scope, the partnership places community impact and technological innovation at its core. The two organisations will jointly deliver STEAM education programmes, youth technology initiatives and basketball court refurbishment projects throughout the Bay Area, while donating 10,000 Warriors jerseys annually to underserved communities.

Golden State Chief Commercial Officer Mike Kitts said, “The Warriors jersey badge is our most visible global platform, and finding a partner that shares our vision for both innovation and community engagement was paramount. IREN is committed to powering the future of technology, education and local impact, and aligns perfectly with our goals as we look to push the boundaries of innovation on a global scale and create a lasting legacy across the Bay Area and beyond.”

IREN Co-Founder and Co-CEO Daniel Roberts added, “What makes Golden State special is the platform they’ve built: championship performance, a category-defining business and a deep commitment to community, all reinforcing each other over time. At IREN, we think about our business through a similar lens. We own and operate the full infrastructure stack: power, data centres, and compute. That vertical integration allows us to serve the world’s most demanding AI workloads and invest in the communities that support us. This partnership brings together two organisations focused on execution, sharing a commitment to the people and the city, building what comes next.”

Founded in 2018, IREN has secured more than five gigawatts of power capacity globally to support AI training and inference workloads. With an expanding international footprint and a growing presence in San Francisco through its commercial and engineering teams, the company continues to position itself as a leading provider of next-generation AI cloud infrastructure.

The agreement further strengthens Golden State Entertainment’s commercial portfolio while reflecting a broader shift in the sports sponsorship market, where artificial intelligence and cloud technology companies are increasingly investing in premium global sports properties to accelerate brand visibility and business growth.
