Golden Guardians (GG), a North American e-sports establishment, has announced the opening of a 10,700 square-foot e-sports centre in Los Angeles, California.
The Golden Guardians are an e-sports franchise of the Golden State Warriors, who play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Warriors’ e-sports company operations will be housed at the complex, according to disclosures.
The venue, which will include a creative studio as well as a training centre, is expected to launch in late 2022.
Golden Guardians’ training centre would be open to participants in League of Legends, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and World of Warcraft, as per the statement. A training room, a movie room, a player club, a team administration department, and a kitchen will be available to these players.
A movie set, green screen, and editing rooms will be available at the facility’s creative studios. The facility is precisely situated near Playa Vista, Los Angeles.
Hunter Leigh, Golden State Warriors Head of Esports, said, “Our new esports facility will have a significant positive impact the development of our competitors.
“The investment in a state-of-the-art headquarters in Los Angeles speaks to the Warriors’ long-term dedication to growing esports and supporting our players in every way possible. I cannot wait for construction to be complete and to offer these amenities to our team.”
