Golden Eagles UP announce Pavna as title sponsor

Golden Eagles UP, owned by Pavna, will play their first match in PHL against Telugu Talons on June 9.

The Premier Handball League (PHL) team, Golden Eagles UP have announced an association with the automotive part solutions company, Pavna.

In this partnership, the UP-based PHL team has named Pavna its title sponsor ahead of the inaugural edition of the competition.

Golden Eagles UP unveiled this new partnership through their social media handles with the caption, “Introducing our Title sponsor: Pavna”

Golden Eagles UP was announced by PHL in December 2021. The team is owned by Pavna Group of Industries (PGI) and will be competing against Maharashtra Ironmen, Telugu Talons, Rajasthan Patriots, and Delhi Panzers.

Pavna, also known as Pavna Group of Industries (PGI), was established in 1971 by Pawan Jain and is currently headquartered in Aligarh Uttar Pradesh. Pavna is also a provider of high-quality reliable parts such as casting components, ignition switches, fuel tank caps and several different automotive parts solutions worldwide.

The inaugural season of PHL will kick off on June 8 and will conclude on June 25. The entire season will be played at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The first clash of the season will take place between Rajasthan Patriots and Maharashtra Ironmen. Golden Eagles UP will play their first game in the PHL against Telugu Talons on Friday, June 9.
