Glenmark Pharmaceuticals signs endorsement deal with Rohit Sharma

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has signed Indian batsman Rohit Sharma as the new brand ambassador of Candid Powder, a legacy brand of the company’s consumer care division. The Indian pharmaceuticals company announced this endorsement in its recent press release.

Addressing the new partnership, Dhawal Katkar, Vice President and Head of Consumer Care at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, said, “We are excited to be associated with Rohit Sharma. He brings refined expertise and skill to the game of cricket in much the same way that Candid Powder has proven to be an expert in the solution of 4 skin problems. Just like Rohit Sharma has all-round expertise in all formats of the game, Candid Powder too, is a proven solution for identified skin related problems.”

Rohit Sharma continues to grow his brand value after signing the latest deal with Glenmark. He is already associated with brands such as CEAT tyres, Adidas, Hublot watches, Maggi, Lays, Nissan, Aristocrat, Relispray, Nasivion Nasal Spray, Oppo, Highlanders, Rasna, Trusox, and SHARP electronics.

Due to cross deals with Mumbai Indians, he is also associated with Jio and Videocon d2h. Sharma is exclusively handled by RISE Worldwide, the rebranded version of Reliance Industries’ sports and lifestyle wing IMG Reliance Ltd.

Currently, Sharma is in Ahmedabad for the fourth and final Test in the India vs England series. After a long time, he has been given a consistent run in the Indian Team. Sharma has grabbed this opportunity with both hands by playing several match-winning knocks. On the second day of the fourth test match against England, he also became the fastest Asian opener to reach the 1000 run-mark in Test cricket by achieving the feat in only 17 innings.
