The Serie A club, Genoa Cricket and Football Club (Genoa CFC) have announced a strategic partnership with Acqua Fiuggi, a leading Italian mineral water brand.
The collaboration has positioned Acqua Fiuggi as the official water partner of the club.
This partnership has marked a significant step for both organizations as they join forces to promote a healthy lifestyle and highlight the importance of hydration in sports. Acqua Fiuggi will be the exclusive water provider for Genoa CFC, with its products prominently featured during matches, training sessions, and club events.
Andrés Blázquez, Club CEO of Genoa, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “I am enthusiastic about this new partnership with Acqua Fiuggi, “a historic brand, synonymous with quality and in the process of a great relaunch at a national and international level, with its compass pointed towards new objectives and reference markets. It is a privilege to avail ourselves of the cooperation of a company like Acqua Fiuggi, also for the promotion of lifestyles inspired by physical well-being, beauty, prevention and social responsibility actions to protect health”.
Marco Camplone, CEO of Acqua e Terme di Fiuggi, echoed the sentiment, “We are very pleased to be the partners of Genoa CFC, a historic club with a great tradition and guiding values in the world of sports, a world close to us precisely because of our broad vision of well-being related to the characteristics of our water, particularly suitable in the recovery phase of high-intensity activities.”
Acqua Fiuggi, renowned for its therapeutic qualities, originates from the volcanic region of Fiuggi. Rich in minerals, the water has been valued for centuries for its diuretic and purifying properties. Beyond its health benefits, Acqua Fiuggi is a refreshing and popular choice for consumers worldwide.
Genoa CFC enjoyed a successful return to Serie A in the 2023-24 season, securing an impressive 11th-place finish. As the club prepares for the upcoming 2024-25 season, it aims to build on its momentum with a mix of experienced players and promising young talent. The addition of Koni De Winter from Juventus and Vitinha from Marseille bolsters the squad for the challenges ahead. The season kicks off with a highly anticipated clash against the defending Serie A champions, Inter Milan, on August 17 at 10:00 PM IST.
