The Argentine Football Association (AFA) has renewed and expanded its long-term collaboration with Genius Sports, extending its alliance until 2030.

The deal secures the technology provider’s role as the exclusive official data and streaming partner of Argentine football, covering both domestic competitions and national team fixtures.

Under the agreement, the sports data and streaming company will continue to collect, process, and distribute official live data and video from AFA’s flagship tournaments, including the Liga Profesional de Fútbol, the Copa Argentina, and matches involving the men’s and women’s national teams. The partnership will provide sportsbooks and media outlets worldwide with trusted, high-quality content while strengthening the global profile of Argentine football.

Commenting on the agreement, Leandro Petersen, AFA’s Commercial and Marketing Director, said, “For eight years, we have been working with a clear and concrete objective: to transform the AFA brand into a leading brand in the sports industry, developing strategic markets, adding new commercial digital partners around the world, and generating new revenue through technology. The renewal also introduces a deeper technology focus.
