Galderma, a global leader in dermatology and skin health, has announced the appointment of Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh as brand ambassadors for its baby skincare line, Cetaphil Baby.

The collaboration signals a new phase in the brand’s communication strategy, highlighting the evolving dynamics of modern parenting and the shared role of both parents in childcare.

The campaign, titled “Parenting ki Nayi Parampara”, positions Cetaphil Baby as a trusted partner in contemporary parenthood. Through this initiative, Galderma emphasizes co-parenting while reinforcing its promise of safe, gentle, and pediatrician-recommended baby skincare.

Commenting on the association, Rohit Sharma, Indian Cricketer and Captain of the Indian ODI Team, said, “Given my crazy travel and training schedule, I have little time to spend at home with the kids. I make it a point that when I’m at home, I participate wholly in all activities with the kids, be it fun or caring. When Cetaphil Baby told us about how young parents are sharing the load of nurturing their babies, it perfectly resonated with our reality as a couple and as parents. We have been using Cetaphil Baby for both our kids.”

Ritika Sajdeh added, “I’m very particular about what goes on my baby’s skin. And I have always trusted Cetaphil Baby since it was recommended by my pediatrician, too. Baby skin is so delicate; we need to be even more certain that the products used on it are both safe and effective. That’s why when Cetaphil Baby approached us, we were more than happy to partner with them in their purpose of bringing good baby skin care to more and more homes.”

Raghavendra Sadashiva, Managing Director, Galderma India & South Asia, continued, “At Galderma, our vision is Advancing dermatology for every skin story. This is especially important when we are talking about Baby’s skin. That’s why Cetaphil Baby formulations are dermatologically tested and pediatrician-recommended. We’re delighted to welcome Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh to the Cetaphil Baby family. They truly embody the spirit of modern co-parenting by sharing responsibilities and prioritising their child’s well-being. Through this partnership, we hope to inspire parents across India to embrace co-parenting while choosing safe, trusted, and pediatrician-recommended skincare for their little ones.”

The Cetaphil Baby portfolio includes baby bathing bars, washes, shampoos, lotions, diaper creams, and massage oils. Designed for delicate skin, these products are available at pharmacies, baby specialty stores, and leading e-commerce platforms.

The association with Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh strengthens Galderma’s emotional connect with young parents while reinforcing its credibility in the baby-care segment. By weaving together themes of trust, safety, and shared parenting, the campaign positions Cetaphil Baby as a preferred choice for the next generation of Indian families.

Beyond his achievements on the cricket field, Rohit Sharma has emerged as a highly influential figure in Indian advertising. His recent brand associations, including Prozo, SRMB Steel, ixigo Trains, Wavin, JK Lakshmi Cement, Swiggy Dineout, True Elements, Oral-B, Oakley, TCL, Swiggy Instamart, and Max Life Insurance, underscore his wide-ranging appeal across consumer segments.
