Blockchain telecommunication technology World Mobile recently signed a deal with the English club Fulham FC. The club will compete in the second tier of the English league, the EFL Championship.
The sponsorship deal has been signed for three years and will see World Mobile become the official kit sponsor of Fulham FC. The club will don the new jersey at the official unveiling scheduled on Wednesday.
The 2020/21 season of the Premier League saw Fulham finish in the 18th spot with a mere 28 points in 38 games and saw them getting relegated to the second tier of English football, only finishing ahead of West Brom and Sheffield United who had 26 and 23 points each in 38 games respectively.
World Mobile will be the front-of-shirt sponsor of Fulham and will replace their previous sponsors ‘BetVictor’. The sponsorship will be induced on the men’s, women’s and the youth squad’s kits.
Fulham FC will go with the ambition of winning the EFL championship and secure a place in the Premier League. The club has the potential to acquire a spot in the English top-flight. The EFL championship kicks off on August 8 that will see Fulham face off against Middlesbrough at home.
The deal will help the fans access the club’s merchandise through social and linear channels, the deal will also help World Mobile enhance its global outreach.
