fuboTV acquires Winter Olympics coverage through NBCUniversal

NBCUniversal has acquired the media rights to the Olympics for ten years that is from 2022 to 2032.

The American television network, fuboTV has joined hands with NBCUniversal to acquire the coverage access of 2022 Winter Olympics. Through this association, fuboTV will provide a multi-platform exposure of the iconic tournament via NBCUniversal’s coverage.

By this collaboration, the subscribers of fuboTV can catch the live and on-demand action of 2800 plus hours of the tournament’s broadcast on numerous devices such as desktops, mobiles and television. The website associated with this stream, NBCOlympics.com with the NBC Sports app will showcase the event rewinds and exclusive video highlights of the thrilling competition. In addition to that, the website will provide regular news updates of the tournament while also featuring live streams of practices performed by the athletes. The subscribers of fuboTV will get access to all of this at no extra charge as the result of this association.

In this agreement, fuboTV will also air full-event replays and highlights of the tournament on its original channel and TV Everywhere. These highlights include 30 clips per day of viral moments and event recaps. With this, the television brand will also showcase 60 pre-Games videos, athlete features and selected US team’s Olympics trials in HD. Lastly, both the media giants will present the grand tournament to their subscribers in 4K High Dynamic Range (HDR) to create a sensational viewing experience for them.

NBCUniversal has acquired the media rights to the Olympics for ten years that is from 2022 to 2032 and the deal will commence with the Winter Olympics.

With this partnership, fuboTV will further enhance its brand recognition and portfolio in the American sports entertainment industry. Recently, the broadcasting unit also bagged the media rights of the Premier League for Canada.
