McLaren Racing has announced a multi-year partnership with enterprise software company Freshworks Inc., naming it an official partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team.

As part of the collaboration, McLaren will integrate Freshworks’ AI-powered IT Service Management (ITSM) solution, Freshservice, into its global operations to streamline workflows and enhance performance both on and off the track.

The partnership is aimed at simplifying McLaren’s IT operations across its international footprint, including high-pressure race environments. By deploying Freshservice, McLaren’s IT team will be equipped to resolve issues faster, reduce operational complexity, and maintain peak performance throughout the F1 calendar.

As part of the agreement, Freshworks branding will appear on the McLaren F1 cars and team apparel starting with the 2025 Belgian Grand Prix, held from July 25 to 27—further increasing the company’s global visibility.

Commenting on the occasion, Zak Brown, CEO, McLaren Racing, said: “Boosting our efficiencies off the track is a key factor in improving our performance on it. With industry-leading partners such as Freshworks, we’re able to do just that, and I’m delighted to welcome them to the team.”

Dennis Woodside, CEO of Freshworks, echoed the sentiment and added, “We partner with McLaren Racing to optimise their IT operations, enhancing their critical support for winning performance. Our enterprise-grade solutions are designed for ease of implementation, use, and configuration, accelerating McLaren IT’s capabilities with AI. We’re proud to deliver intuitive software that directly supports their mission to eliminate complexity on and off the track.”

Freshworks’ entry into Formula 1 sponsorship underscores its strategy to grow brand recognition through high-impact sports partnerships. The collaboration with McLaren also places the company alongside a growing list of tech-forward brands in the F1 paddock, highlighting the increasing role of AI and automation in elite motorsport environments.

McLaren Racing continues to build a strong network of commercial and technology partners, including Sega, Allwyn, Greene Tweed, Alteryx, Medallia, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Stanley Black & Decker, and Okta. These collaborations focus on strengthening the team’s digital infrastructure, analytics capabilities, and operational agility—key pillars of success in modern F1.

As the 2025 season enters its second half, McLaren remains a dominant force in both the Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championships. The team currently leads the Constructors’ standings with 460 points, well ahead of Ferrari (222 points) and Mercedes (210 points). In the Drivers’ standings, Oscar Piastri tops the chart with 234 points, followed closely by teammate Lando Norris with 226. Reigning World Champion Max Verstappen is third with 165 points.

The partnership between Freshworks and McLaren Racing reflects the growing synergy between cutting-edge technology and elite motorsport. With a shared emphasis on speed, innovation, and reliability, the alliance is well-positioned to deliver meaningful impact both behind the scenes and on the grid.
