The Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Saint Lucia Kings have announced a partnership renewal with FREEMANS Tools, a manufacturer of measuring tools based in India.
The Indian brand will continue as principal sponsor for the Kings for the second consecutive year.
FREEMANS, founded in 1950, has an outstanding reputation for creating high-quality measurement equipment and a global presence. While the corporation has previously worked with other sports leagues, their cooperation with the Kings last year was their first foray into cricket, and it was followed by a relationship with Punjab Kings for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Sahil Nayar, Executive Director at FMI Limited (FREEMANS), said, “We are delighted to continue our journey with the Saint Lucia Kings. This partnership represents a perfect alignment of our core values—precision, quality, and a commitment to success. We extend our best wishes to the team for the upcoming challenge and are confident they will defend the title and bring home another CPL trophy.”
Satish Menon, CEO of Saint Lucia Kings, commented, “We are excited to have FREEMANS back as our principal sponsor for CPL 2025. Their renewed support is a testament to the strong relationship we’ve built. We look forward to this partnership, which will play a huge role in ensuring a successful season and delivering brilliant performances for our fans.”
Saurabh Arora, CCO of Saint Lucia Kings, said, “Our partnership with FREEMANS goes beyond a simple sponsorship; it’s a strategic alliance built on a shared vision and mutual respect. We are confident that this collaboration will not only enhance our brand presence but also contribute to a memorable and winning season for the Saint Lucia Kings.”
With a global presence in over 60 countries, FREEMANS continues to demonstrate its dedication to accuracy and technical quality, and its continuous association with Saint Lucia Kings increases its visibility into the high-energy world of T20 cricket.
Ahead of the 2025 season, the champions also inked ties with Melbat.
The CPL’s reigning champions enter the 2025 season with confidence and continuity, headed by new captain David Wiese following Faf du Plessis‘ departure. Their roster is a blend of experience and firepower, with Johnson Charles, Tim David, and Roston Chase leading the batting and Alzarri Joseph and Tabraiz Shamsi directing a powerful bowling attack. Young players like Ackeem Auguste and Micah McKenzie, an 18-year-old spinner, bring local flare and future potential. With a maintained core, new international recruits, and the energy from their 2024 title run, the Kings appear well-balanced and ready to defend their title, beginning their campaign on August 18 against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.
